We’re looking for a reliable, organized Cook / Prep Cook to join our kitchen team and help keep our café running smoothly.
☀️ DAYTIME KITCHEN — NO NIGHT SHIFTS
Our kitchen closes at 3:00 PM, so this is a daytime position. You will never be scheduled for a late-night kitchen shift.
If you’re someone who enjoys working in a clean, organized kitchen, takes pride in quality prep, and can work independently while still being a strong team player, we’d love to meet you.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare all food items according to daily prep sheets and Drift standards
- Ensure ingredients are fresh, properly portioned, labeled, and ready for service
- Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing deliveries
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen throughout the shift
- Help set the kitchen team up for a successful service each day
- Autonomously open and/or close the kitchen when scheduled
- Follow all food safety, TCHP, and Health Department requirements
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and café teams
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization at all times

- Ability to work independently without constant supervision
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced café environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to be part of a team
- Pride in cleanliness, food quality, and consistency
- Dependable, punctual, and responsible
Qualifications
- 2+ years of previous food service or kitchen experience
- Reliable means of transportation
- Weekend availability is required
- Must be available Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
- Ability to work daytime shifts and be available through our kitchen closing time and clean up.

Compensation: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
